Racism is a social construct that is used to maintain control over people. Racism has to stop. You have to expose the problem to help create a solution. Plot: Zay and Smackle get followed in Demolition. He made eye contact with the middle aged Caucasian worker lurking a couple of feet away from where Zay and Smackle were standing. Smackle being very Smackle looked right towards the worker making tangibly awkward eye contact with the woman.
All emotion drained from her body and she put the clothes down. Smackle grabbed his arm bringing his attention back to her. This happens too much and too often. Before Zay could explain, Smackle was already fuming about the whole experience.
Lucas looked at Maya, clothes of hers and his filling his arms. His face was hard and Zay knew that look. Glimpses of the old Lucas were breaking through. Smackle and Zay stood there, worried about what Lucas was going to do. They cautiously followed Lucas and Maya along with all their clothing.
Why is that? She turned towards Zay and Smackle, her face still masked with embarrassment. It hurt even more knowing that that was what she learned- what she was taught. No one is born hateful. Smackle had gone quiet and blank since the whole experience. Zay pulled Smackle back, letting Maya and Lucas walk ahead. The group crawled through the bay window to find Riley and Farkle running around, trying to set up pillows and blankets for the movie night.
Bowls of popcorn covered every flat surface and different movie cases scattered the floor. When Riley heard the window slide open, she turned around with an enormous smile on her face. How was your shopping spree? With the silence, Farkle put down the pillows and came behind Riley. Luckily Mr. Matthews had the perfect lesson for tomorrow. The Clique Six were silent entering History class with Mr. Last night really opened their eyes. Nothing in her life seemed important anymore.
She looked around the room, catching the gazes of Yogi and Yindra and Jeffrey. Why does racism exist? Farkle slowly rose his hand, getting a nod to speak from Mr. Today we going to learn about racism.
Again the class went silent reading the name. Leading children to believe eye color determines your rank in society?
Zay turned to Jeffrey and watched his hand match theirs. History is continuing to repeat itself. Matthews began to walk around the room. He watched his students eyes go big. He held up his hand, stopping from the crazed thoughts filling the room. Once you teach children that you are above no one- that this social pyramid does not exist. Once that is taught and that lesson is learned, we can finally see peace. How do we know if it has been learned?
You teach love and learning will take care of itself. Confront the problem and present the solution. Stand with those in need and support them no matter what. I can not stress enough: if you see something, say something. Smackle turned around to Lucas and laid her hand on his. Thank you Lucas. The Last of the Loric. Girl Meets Racism Fanfiction. Lucas Friar & Maya Hart — Lucas takes care of drunk Maya oneshot
A tear falls down my face silently, anoter text for my anonymous bully. Sad a part is that its true. Ever since I can remeber Shawn and I have never had a good relationship. He'd visit every once and a while but that just meant I went to my room more often than useall.
ZAYA - GM BEAR
Zay reflects on his feelings for Isadora Smackle. It was the first time everything had gone significantly not according to plan. Her parents had always told her to go after what she wanted. She had grown up hearing that the sky was the limit, that if she wanted it enough and pursued it hard enough, she would have it. Yet, here she was without the thing that she had always wanted. She had known that she had her limitations, but she had been sure that with her brilliance and determination anything was possible. For all her belief, her strength, her daring; she had been unable to secure for herself what she had long deemed hers. They would have been perfect. He was brilliant…kind, wise…the perfect guy. He had enough intellect to appreciate her genius, enough sense to help her understand the world.
Maya and Riley
Prompted by the episodes where Zay just doesn't show up more often than not he does in school episodes, but still and most importantly, him not being around for rules, here is the story, Sick days. Zay rarely got sick. He hadn't had a stomach bug or a cold in years. His mother did not know that. That's because Zay faked like the best of them.
I apologize. Hope you all like it:. The gang, along with the rest of their high school history class, had just arrived at a ski lodge in Connecticut for their first weekend filed trip of high school.
This is very short, but hopefully it's decent! Zay was thankful once he finally found Lucas that he was sitting underneath the big oak tree outside of the ski lodge rather than kicking it. Zay sat beside his friend, doing his best to ignore the anger in his tone. Man, I know this has been confusing for you.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: lucas in a fight. Girl meets the secret of life
Good evening gentlemen. I have quite a few thoughts on this one. I'm not sure I liked it. In previous episodes, it was implied that Riley played the part of naive, sunshine at least a little on purpose, because it made people happy and she wanted them to be happy, while also knowing that the World had some ugly corners. The Riley Committee actually being effective in their mission, and more importantly, that it was never called out, I'm not happy about. I don't bear much ill will against Maya or Farkle, since it likely started as more of a "Make Sure Riley Never Cries Club," and I could buy it snowballing, but the others didn't know Riley until she was a teenager, which makes me angry that they chose to treat her like a little kid.

Lucas is studying at NYU to become a veterinarian, his dream since the sixth grade. But as dumb as it was, the statement was true. But he ended up being dragged to some by Riley and Zay, along with the rest of his friends. Lucas would act like he thought it was gross, but he secretly really enjoyed the strange yet hilarious exchanges with the fiery blonde. Maya had just broken up with her boyfriend, Josh, and was planning on drinking heavily and getting wasted.
They are known as Rilaya. Maya and Riley have been best friends for years, they're like sisters and are very close to one another. The Bay Window is their special place where they solve many of their problems and they hold many of their "meetings" with friends there. Maya and Riley are both willing to sacrifice their happiness for the sake of the other and are highly protective of each other and try to make each other happy.
Lucas who was just scrolling through his phone while lying on his bed look lazily over to the unexpected intruder. I came over to yell at this big idiot for making Riley cry! She thought that maya knew and was hiding it from her. Lucas nodded but inside his heart began to race and his nervousness grew.
